This essay argues that collective intelligence is essential for disaster resilience. Despite the potential of collective intelligence, the underlying principles and paradigms remain insufficiently addressed in current research. To start addressing this gap, this essay proposes a dedicated research agenda on collective intelligence for disaster resilience. By outlining this agenda, the essay seeks to stimulate further inquiry at the intersection of these fields.
